• Experience spans the three domains of learning, media and business. 

• Extensive experience in the e-learning industry.  In 1996 founded AV Edge Ltd. – the focus was initially on educational television.  Later with the support of business investors, AV Edge diversified into e-learning and multimedia products and international markets. 

• In 2004 sold AV Edge to ThirdForce plc and subsequently worked for ThirdForce as Head of Skills for Life (a new business division).  In that capacity successfully established the new business in the UK market – this involved both product and market innovation.  ThirdForce is still very active in this market.

• In 2007 I joined National College of Ireland to take up my current position.
